“By immediately,” the provider must comply within 24 hours. All time periods commence with the date of receipt by the provider of the correction orders.
The immediate correction order should be issued even if:
- The date of incident is not the same day as the date of knowledge.
- There are other infractions that warrant a regular correction order.
The immediate correction order should be issued even if:
- Use SFN 379 to issue an immediate correction order.
- Leave a completed copy of the SFN 379 with the provider, or inform the provider of the necessary correction and send a copy of the SFN 379 by certified mail immediately upon returning to the office.
- Send copies of all correction order notices to regional office.
- A copy of the correction order will be maintained in the county office, provider’s file, and the regional office.
- The authorized agent shall notify the Child Care Resource and Referral agency of the immediate correction order.
